NewJeans (뉴진스) is a girl group under ADOR. They debuted on July 22, 2022 with the lead single "Attention", before the release of their debut EP New Jeans on August 1, 2022. NewJeans is known for her "girl next door" image and for her pop and R&B songs inspired by the 1990s and 2000s, with influences from various styles of dance and club music. NewJeans debuted on July 22, 2022, with the single "Attention," their first number-one single on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. Two other singles, "Hype Boy" and "Cookie," followed soon after. All singles were included on their self-titled debut EP New Jeans, released in August 2022. In January 2023, they released their first album, OMG, to great commercial success. It was accompanied by two singles, "Ditto" and "OMG". "Ditto" was hugely popular, becoming the longest-running song at number one on the Circle Digital Chart and the group's first song to enter both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.

Their second EP, Get Up, reached number one on the Billboard 200 and sold over a million copies in South Korea. Their lead single, "Super Shy", became the group's best-selling single on the Billboard Global 200, Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. NewJeans has received awards as a rookie artist and was included in several lists such as Time magazine's Next Generation Leaders and Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40. The IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) named NewJeans as the eighth best-selling artist globally in 2023.

NewJeans' discography is mainly composed of midtempo pop and R&B melodies reminiscent of the music of the 90's; Critics have also highlighted elements of hip-hop, UK garage, Baltimore club, Jersey club and moombahton[39] in his music.

In my opinion, Newjeans started with everything, they gave everything since their debut, a particularly entertaining group if you could say so, everything has grace and charm. The members, concept, rhythm and lyrics of the music. They are songs for young people that catch you from the beginning.

Get Up

Get Up is the second EP by NewJeans. It was released on July 21, 2023 with "Super Shy", "ETA" and "Cool With You" serving as the EP's title tracks. Two pre-release tracks, "New Jeans" and "Super Shy" were released digitally on July 7, 2023.

Get Up has very good songs, this album is the clear demonstration that these girls have plenty of talent. They don't disappoint with any song and you manage to get attached to them and love the songs until you can't. NewJeans are definitely good generations >w<

Hyein

Lee Hye-in (born April 21, 2008), known as Hyein (혜인), is a South Korean singer and dancer under ADOR. She is a member of the girl group NewJeans and, at the same time, she is a former member of the children's co-ed group Play With Me Club and the children's girl group U.SSO Girl.

Hyein was born Lee Hye-in on April 21, 2008 in Incheon, South Korea. She has one older sister, born 2003 August 18, and one older brother, born 2005 December 17. Hyein became a trainee in 2021, ADOR disclosed that she transferred from her previous international school to pursue homeschooling to finish her studies. ADOR said that this was decided upon by her parents.

2016: Modeling career

Hyein began working as a child model when she was eight years old.

2017–2018: U.SSO Girl

In July 2017, Hyein was announced as a member of the first generation of the kid group U.SSO Girl (유쏘걸) under the stage name U.jeong (유정). The group debuted with the single "Go Go Sing" on November 7, 2017. While part of the group, she befriended Babymonster's Rora (Lee Dain), who was also part of U.SSO Girl. Hyein left the group in 2018.

2019–2021: PocketTV and Play With Me Club, SIXDANCE

Hyein appeared as a regular on the kids' YouTube channel PocketTV from its inception on January 11, 2019 until May 2021. She was also a member of the channel's co-ed kid group Play With Me Club (놀아줘클럽, Nolajwo keulleob) as a dancer and vocalist. The group debuted on December 16, 2020 with the single "Let's Play". On May 3, 2021, Hyein left the group and the YouTube channel.Between October 19 and December 21, 2021, Hyein appeared on EBS's children's show Live Talk! Talk! Boni Hani (생방송 톡!톡! 보니하니) as a member of SIXDANCE, a co-ed dance group.

2022: Debut with NewJeans

Hyein was revealed as a member of ADOR's upcoming girl group NewJeans on July 21, 2022. She subsequently debuted on August 1, 2022 with the mini album New Jeans.

Minji

Kim Min-ji (born May 6, 2004), better known as Minji (민지), is a South Korean singer and lyricist under ADOR. She is a member of the girl group NewJeans.

Minji was born Kim Min-ji on May 7, 2004 in Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea. During her elementary school years, she learned English before studying abroad in Canada for a few months. In 2017, Minji became a trainee under Source Music for four and a half years.

CAREER

2019–2021: PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION & BTS "Permission to Dance" MV Appearance

Minji's first appearance was in the videos titled "PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION #THE_GIRL 1" and "PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION #THE_GIRL 2" both uploaded on Sep 3, 2019. Later on, Minji and Hanni both made appearances in BTS's music video "Permission to Dance" on July 8, 2021

2022: NewJeans Debut

Minji was officially revealed as a member of NewJeans on July 22, 2022 with the release of the "Attention" MV.
